On working on the current project, in the culturally rich town in Faridabad, Amardeep Gulri shares his thought and ideas while highlighting about the aesthetics of the project and his experience. “In a modern style house, all the design elements should be in harmony with each other. We have tried to keep the design uncomplicated by avoiding too many separations such as long corridors or passages and have covered the spaces using mock fireplace and console. The idea was to use the spaces efficiently so that each of them can be put to the maximum use.”
Adding to it, the designer mentions, “By working together with our client and getting to know the requirements, created a beautiful and functional house that is a true representation of the modern design style. “
Modern houses have larger concentrations of neutral colors such as cool whites, beige, light grey an cream, but the splendid resident witnesses splashes of bright or flashy colors, so long as they don’t dominate the design in the upholstery and artworks. The interiors have spaces that are adequately illuminated and structured to exhibit paintings or sculptures. the main focus was to bring out the contemporary style with simplicity, subtle sophistication, deliberate use of texture, and clean lines.
