Well-known for their distinctive design signature – simplicity, innovative thinking and Scandinavian design – the German brand Nya Nordiska has been designing and distributing premium decorative and upholstery fabrics for both the residential and contract sector worldwide since 1964.
Inspired by the French painter, Matisse, the new collection bears the imprint of all of Nya Nordiska credentials. A combination of 30% viscose, 5% polyester and 65% linen, Matisse presents versatile characters. The shiny and technically clever viscose embroidery of Matisse transforms Nya Nordiska’s classic linen-satin Nubia into an expressionist piece of art.
With its playful, graphic shapes, Matisse heralds joy and freshness. The textiles come in soft powder and nude shades; Matisse Metal is extra glam thanks to its fine threads of shimmering Lurex. These multi-purpose textiles lend themselves beautifully to bedspreads, curtains, upholsteries and cushions.
