Kolkata-based Ochre at Home (OAH) is known for their bespoke furniture and accessories that showcase radical and forward-looking designs yet are
rooted in tradition. OAH unveils charming Christmas decorations, complete with a colourful and cosy table setting, that celebrate creativity and art.

The highlight of the OAH Christmas decorations is, of course, the impressive DIY Christmas tree that takes a Scandinavian-inspired minimal route. Made of MDF and hand-painted in pristine white, red and green with stripes and polka dot details, the tree can be easily assembled. It’s a modern interpretation without losing its traditional soul.

The geometric shaped coffee table, made of recycled wood, is inspired by traditional paneled double doors. It comes alive with a wrought iron candle stand and a vibrant wreath placed on it. The lounge chair with metal accents is designed to offer absolute comfort and relaxation. The stenciled and laser-cut metal base of the sculptural floor lamp mimics the shape of the tree.

The breakfast table set-up is intimate and inviting with a glorious centerpiece made of red roses, berries and other flowers. Woven placemats, wicker baskets, pine cones bring nature closer, as well as define the season’s mood subtly. Artworks from Harshit Agrawal’s Solo Show of AI Art- ‘Exo-Stential- AI Musings on the Posthuman’ curated by Myna Mukherjee
at Emami Art form a perfect backdrop. The glass of mulled wine and gifts wrapped in Christmas colours capture the magic of the season.
