Reminiscent of the Mughal and Medieval Period, Rosabhag’s aesthetic style is perfect for interior home decoration like a palatial dream

A leading design house in furniture and interior design, Rosabagh was established in 2018 by Abhishek Kathuria, founder and creative director along with his wife, Barkha Kathuria who helms interior styling and consultations. The brand stretches the boundaries of art, engineering and aesthetics to create exquisite and classic furniture. Rosabagh is nestled in the bylanes of the bustling furniture hub of Kirti Nagar Delhi, offering bespoke services ranging from conceptualization to consultancy that includes crafting custom-made furniture to make ‘dream homes.’

Taking forward the legacy of the iconic 26-year-old Marigold Furnishers, Rosabagh is an expansion of the renowned design house’s signature flair of creating exemplary furniture woven with Indian heritage and global influences.

Spread on a sprawling area of 12,000 sq. ft, Rosabagh is a celebration of style, luxury and understated opulence that is evident in the layout and grand entrance of their tastefully designed four-storied store. Right from the Gothic-style mirrors, European village-inspired sofas with rich fabrics of suede, silks, linen and limited-edition patterns, bar tables in marble stone, Renaissance-inspired chairs, mirror-and-wood side tables in antique champagne polish, art-deco-inspired crystal chandeliers to the richly upholstered grandfather chairs with button-tufting and accents, everything contributes to a design syntax that is visually appealing to the eye.

The latest collection features statement sofas, consoles, upholstered chairs and beds that have been handcrafted with hardwood varieties such as teak and oakwood. Bringing together the romanticism of iconic material and innovative weave patterns on a backdrop of muted tones with bold and vibrant hues, the collection is an evocative composition of furniture essentials that are akin to heirloom jewels. Distinct designs and age-old craft techniques like cane, herringbone weave patterns and champagne leafing, created on a subdued canvas with rich, lush and meticulously detailed motifs make for a great conversation starter in the spaces this furniture would inhabit. Multi-functional fixtures and compact pieces that complement both large and small spaces like side tables with detachable table tops that can be used as trays, bed benches pre incorporated into beds et al also become a highlight of the new line.

To give a truly immersive experience in terms of luxury living, the brand’s walkthrough concept store has been styled to showcase a living space, dining room, bar lounge, study area and bedroom where people can envision their intimate spaces.

“We offer timeless pieces and create designs that are tailored to every individual’s need revolving around their lifestyle and sensibilities. Our vision is to curate comfortable spaces conceptualized to make design accessible and help visualise the various interior and décor concepts for different areas.” – says Abhishek Kathuria, Founder and Creative Director Rosabagh.

No inch of the store—or you can easily call it a high-concept gallery too—is sterile or dull, given how seamlessly the classic and the modern, the Indian and the Western, merge together here. Rosabagh is all about maximalism and grandeur and they have come through remarkably.
